Just a few years ago, the absence of computers, internet connectivity, and even basic electricity had isolated these villages from the world's digital revolution. Recognizing the profound gap and its implications, the organization embarked on an ambitious mission to introduce computer literacy in these untouched regions. Starting with a single teacher and a foundational computer literacy course, the initiative witnessed rapid growth, fueled by an eager thirst for knowledge among the local youth.

Expanding Horizons: IT Schools in Bodgaun, Tindara and Badhare

Today, our initiative boasts three flourishing IT schools in Bodgaun and Tindara, with over 80, 92 and 240 students enrolled, respectively. These schools represent beacons of hope and innovation in an area previously marred by digital exclusion. Our curriculum is meticulously structured into three progressive levels:

  • Beginner (First Year): Introducing fundamental computer skills and digital literacy, opening doors to global knowledge and communication.

  • Intermediate (Second Year): Building upon basic skills, this level delves into more sophisticated software use and internet navigation, fostering analytical and creative thinking.

  • Advanced (Third Year): This culminating course prepares students for specialized tasks, including data processing and the application of IT in various sectors, setting the stage for professional opportunities.

Beyond Literacy: Empowering Communities and Fostering Development

The goals of our IT education initiative extend far beyond mere computer literacy. We aim to:

To establish and run one IT school for three years—which includes covering 36 teacher salaries, day-to-day operations, purchasing 15 computers, and setting up a conducive learning environment with necessary electrical and internet infrastructure—requires approximately $23,000. This modest investment opens a world of possibilities, providing computer literacy to at least 100 children per school.
