History

Under the visionary guidance of founder Alberto Luzzi, Jay Nepal NGO in collaboration with the Italian NGO Senza Confini, and with the invaluable contributions of Jay Nepal's founding members Bahsudev Neupane, construction committee members, and numerous dedicated volunteers, the hospital has undergone a remarkable transformation. Constructed in 2018 as the Bodgaun Medical Centre by Jay Nepal NGO, this initiative was made possible by the generous land donations from local farmers. By 2023, the facility was partially transferred to the local government to foster a collaborative partnership. Today, this co-management model thrives through shared financial commitment and the formation of two committees, integrating both government representatives and Jay Nepal members.
